  15. I currently use a Sunrise AD516 with Bars&Pipes in my A4000/40.

  17. I want to start using it to do some work with video.  I understand that the
  18. AD516 can sync to LTC SMPTE timecode.  But I can't find a reasonably priced
  19. video deck that will let me use LTC (my budget only goes up to about
  20. $1500).

  22. The problem is that I need to capture the audio from the video before
  23. re-mixing it.  Unfortunately this means that there's no where to stripe the
  24. LTC timecode.

  26. There is a VITC compatible deck that I might buy, but when I asked about
  27. VITC to LTC converters I was told that that alone would cost $4000.  Is this
  28. the best price I could get?

  30. Is there anyone out there that customises decks so that the linear audio
  31. channel can be used to carry LTC timecode?

  33. Is anyone out there using the AD516 SMPTE output module to solve a problem
  34. like mine?

  36. How could I get hold of the SMPTE output module now that Sunrise have
  37. stopped answering the phones?
